CORPORATE HISTORY

A.M. BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION, INC. (AMBCI) started as AM Construction in 2013 and was established based on the idea of safety, quality and service – creating quality construction works while following the stringent standards of safety and doing service to the local community by providing jobs to its localities.

It is a construction and engineering company duly registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and under the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) with classification of General Engineering and General Building. AMBCI is authorized to engage projects both in the government and in private sectors which ranges from Roads, Highway Pavements and Railways to Airports, Horizontal Structures and Bridges, Irrigation and Flood Control, Residential Housing, Building and Industrial Plants, Park, Playground and Recreational Works. In 2015, the company became AM Construction and Supplies and started to engage in supplies business. To date, AMBCI is seeking higher PCAB Category upgrade to expand its business and take more active role in community development.

Originally and informally conceptualized by Gwen and May Lucero in 2010; however, circumstances like inexperience, insufficiency of support system and their present occupations in government during that time would deter the plan into being realized. Nevertheless, their desire to put up a construction company was not put off by these circumstances. Guided by the idea of safety, quality and service, the couple continued to pursue the goal while equipping them with all available knowledge pertaining to this kind of business, asking people with relatively wide experience in construction business as support systems and putting up required capital for the purpose.

On 02 November 2021, AMC turned another chapter of its story when it became AMCI. From single proprietorship, AM Construction and
Supplies became AM Construction Inc. – a corporation duly registered under SEC which hoped for bigger role in the business. However, due to similarity of AMCI to one other already registered company with SEC, the company was eventually named A.M. BROTHERS CONSTRUCTION, INC. (AMBCI) of which name came from from brothers Arnolf Myrson and Aiden Mayson Lucero.

AMBCI is headed by an accomplished and a diligent civil engineer as its President and Chief Operations Officer, Ms. MAY A. LUCERO, whose over 20 years of experience in construction business, both in private and in government together with her stern qualities of hard-work and dedication for excellence, compassion for her people and her numerous schoolings and seminars in construction and safety is certain to lead the company to promising heights. She is ably assisted by Mr GWEN LUCERO, sitting as the Business Support Manager, whose over 15 years of managerial and leadership experience both in the military and civilian corporate entities is leading the efforts in the most innovative and most responsive business processes development of the company.
